An offer letter document template is just a Word doc (.docx) file that uses template variables in place of specific candidate information. For example, in a template, you might write:
Hi {{ first_name }}, your starting salary is {{ salary }}!
instead of:
Hi Jane, your starting salary is $120,000!
Aeqium uses the template to generate a document for a DocuSign envelope, replacing the template variables with details for the job offer.
