Welcome to comp cycles with Aeqium!
Our platform is designed to give you, your leadership, and your FP&A teams a centralized place to collaborate on compensation planning. Instead of your decisions getting lost in spreadsheets, instant messages, and emails, you will be able to work in a single platform that provides you with the data you need to get to the best outcomes for your team.
This guide details Aeqium’s comp cycle functionality. We will start with the standard steps all reviewers must take, then discuss the more advanced steps for Reviewers of Reviewers. Please note that, depending on which type of reviewer you are, some of the views provided in the screenshots below will look slightly different than what you see on our site.
Not sure you’re in the right place? Consider reviewing our broader guide, Aeqium for Managers, or visit our Aeqium Help Center for more information!

To get started, you’ll need to open up the Comp Cycle User Dashboard. If you received an email inviting you to participate in the cycle, just follow the link provided in the email. Otherwise, you can navigate to the “Cycles” page of our website and click on your current comp cycle at the top to get started.
If you’re having trouble getting to the Cycles page, you can also get to your active cycle by clicking the “Go To Cycles” link in the top right on the banner:
This banner will appear whenever you have an open comp cycle, but are on a different page in Aeqium.
*Note: The majority of this guide illustrates how to work through a comp cycle as an initial reviewer, meaning someone who is not reviewing other reviewers. If you are instead a Reviewer of Reviewers, you should still review this whole guide, but understand that what you’re seeing will look slightly different. We detail the specific Reviewer of Reviewer experience later on in this guide: For Reviewers of Reviewers
When you first enter a new comp cycle, you’ll initially be presented with a set of custom instructions from your HR/Comp Team (if they’ve chosen to provide them):
You should read these carefully before closing the instructions window, but you’ll be able to return to them at any time. Specifically, you can find them in the ‘Reviewer Instructions’ tab of the ‘Tasks & Submit’ sidebar, which you can access from the top right corner of the page.
Similarly, you should review the ‘My Tasks’ tab of that sidebar before diving into your reviews. As an initial reviewer, your tasks will simply be to 1) fill out your reviews and 2) submit them to the next reviewer!
