One of the core goals of Aeqium is putting relevant, actionable compensation information in the hands of leaders so they can more effectively run their teams. This guide gives an overview of Aeqium’s features available to leaders, distinct from our Comp Cycles Reviewer Guide. The Team Page: View Your Org’s Total Rewards

The Team Page gives you an at-a-glance view of each of the employees in your reporting chain and their total rewards information. You can view your team in either an Org Chart structure or Table format.

The Org Chart view lets you explore your team by the management structure. Clicking on an employee will bring you to the Total Rewards Portal for that person.

From the table view, you can click “Edit Columns” to see and select all the employee attributes available to add or remove from the table. Within the window that pops up, you can also always select “Show All”, “Hide All”, or “Reset”, which returns you to the default view.

The table view of your team allows you to sort and filter your employees by any of the attributes in Aeqium. Click “Edit Columns” in the upper right-hand corner of the table to view the available attributes.

Clicking on an employee’s name from either the org chart or table view will bring you to the Total Rewards Portal for that individual. The Total Rewards Portal has similar information to what you would find in the My Comp section, and the first thing you will see in it is an at-a-glance view of that employee’s annualized total compensation and how it has grown over time:

The graph shows each of the components of compensation for this employee, including salary, equity grants, and variable compensation like bonuses or commissions. For variable compensation, a dotted line indicates the target variable amount for a year where a bonus or commission has not yet been paid, whereas a solid line indicates the total variable compensation already paid for that calendar year.

Below the chart, you’ll find a section to model the employee’s projected equity growth. You can see how the value of their equity and your company’s valuation would change with different growth multiples and price assumptions.

We can only show data that has been provided to Aeqium, so if you notice something missing, consult with your Aeqium admin or HR team to see how we can get it added.

As you scroll down the page, you will be able to see where this employee falls relative to peers at the same level in your org and where they fall relative to pay bands, if you have access to those. You’ll also see a detailed timeline of each compensation-related event (e.g. raise, bonus paid, equity grant, etc.) with reason codes for the events, if your company has added them:

In the scatter plot of employees at the same level, you can hover over a dot to see the employee’s name and click on it to jump to the total rewards portal for that employee.

My Compensation: Explore Your Own Total Rewards and Enable Your Employees to Understand Theirs

The My Comp page is very similar to the Total Rewards Portal discussed above, except it details your compensation information instead of your employees’ info. As such, if your company invites your employees into the product, they can use this page to better understand their own total rewards, including equity and benefits.

Here are the key differences between the My Comp page and your manager view of an employee’s Total Rewards Portal:
