Welcome to Offer Letters in Aeqium! In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps involved in creating beautiful offer letters that attract and impress candidates with customized images, messaging, and styles.
Aeqium’s offer letter feature gives you the ability to benchmark compensation, determine compensation packages, and welcome candidates to your team with beautiful interactive offer letters. However, before you can create your first offer letter, there are a few steps you need to take, which we discuss below.
If you use an ATS system to manage offers and want Aeqium to pull your offer letter details from it automatically, you can set up an integration for that in Aeqium. To connect your ATS system to Aeqium, navigate to the Integrations tab in Settings and go to the last card at the bottom, labeled Hiring:
From there, click “Connect” and select your ATS from the drop-down list. Currently, we support integrations with Lever and Greenhouse, but please let us know at [email protected] if you use a different system.
After selecting your ATS, you will be prompted with instructions specific to your system. Follow these closely to complete the ATS integration process.
Before creating your first offer letter, you will also need to add information on the benefits your company offers into Aeqium. To do so, go to the Company tab in Settings, then scroll down to the Benefits card.
From there, click “Add Benefit” and start creating your first benefit in the popup modal. Start by giving your benefit a name and category designation. If the benefit only exist for employees in certain locations, you can assign those locations.
You can then select a currency, assign the benefit an annual value, and give it a description. Annual value can be configured as a fixed amount or percentage of cash comp or salary.
If the benefit has multiple options, like health insurance plans, check the box at the bottom of the modal. You can then assign each option a name, description, and annual value.
Once you’ve configured your benefits, you can publish them, or save them as drafts. Published benefits added here will be visible to employees on the "My Compensation" page as well as to candidates in their offer letters. If you want your benefits to show up in offers, you’ll need to publish them.
Now that your hiring and benefits information are all in Aeqium, you’re ready to create your first offer template. To get started, navigate to the Offers tab in Settings:
From here, you can use the left-hand menu to configure the style and content of your offer template. Customize the logo, messaging, and styles to make your offer letters align with your brand and optics for candidates!
