If your organization uses Slack for internal communication and you’d like to leverage it for communicating about compensation cycles, Aeqium makes it incredibly easy to do so!

How Slack Works with Aeqium

When you integrate Slack with Aeqium, Aeqium will send compensation cycle reviewers messages when:

• Reviews are submitted to them or sent back to them
• They are tagged or mentioned in the comments section for an employee they are reviewing

In contrast, Aeqium will send emails instead of Slack messages when:

• You use the “Email Reviewers” functionality in a cycle (e.g., invite or remind reviewers)
• You invite users to Aeqium generally
• You generate or send out compensation statements

Setting Up The Integration

To start, go the the Integrations tab in Aeqium Settings, scroll the the bottom, and you’ll see a card for setting up Slack:

From there, click “Add to Slack”, and you’ll be taken to a screen resembling the below:

On that screen, just click “Allow”, and your integration will be good to go!
