To allow you to efficiently manage your compensation bands, Aeqium supports bulk operations for creating, updating, and exporting bands. All of these functions are available to admins on via the “Import XLSX” option shown on the ‘Active Bands’ and ‘Job Architecture and Band Setup’ tabs on the Bands page:

After clicking ‘Import Other Settings’, you’ll see two options:
We’ve split out the workflows for these use cases to make both more straightforward, and we cover each workflow below:
To start, click the option to Rename existing bands and hit Next. From there, click the link to download your existing ladder and level names. Doing so will download a spreadsheet with the following columns:
Old Ladder NameNew Ladder NameOld Level NameNew Level NameYou should only ever edit the “New…” columns, as we use the “Old…” columns to identify which Ladders/Levels you’re referring to.
To give a ladder or level a new name, simply fill in the appropriate rows of the “New…” column(s).
Please note that, if you’re renaming a ladder, you need to enter the new ladder name in all rows with the existing ladder name.
To create or update bands, you will first download a template that has each of the columns listed in the “Spreadsheet Format” section below. This can either be an empty template, or one containing all of your bands. From here, you can make the modifications (add rows, modify rows, delete rows) that you want to see reflected in your bands. In order to delete ladders, levels, or bands for a particular region, you will want to use the options available in the “Advanced Settings” section of the modal.
The following fields are the columns expected in the spreadsheet.
